As Apple recently has been rumored with its iPad 3, now ASUS with its Eee Pad Transformer 2. Asus chairman Jonney Shih confirmed the company has already been working on a sequel to Eee Pad Transformer. With a Tegra 3 quad-core Kal-El processor, it seems Asus will also packed with Android Ice Cream Sandwich, the next Android OS.
The predecessor, ASUS Eee Pad Transformer has been sold up to number of not less than 400,000 units in Q2 2011 and ASUS is looking to double it up on the next Transformer.

The big question for now is, will ASUS Eee Pad Transformer 2 earn the world’s first quad-core powered slate? Let’s find it out later on October.
